The IE Global Admission Test (ieGAT) lasts 80 minutes (1 hour 20 minutes). However, you must allow half an hour of preparation before the start of the test for the explanations and examples that your guide will give you, in order to confirm that you understand how to complete the test.

The IE Global Admission Test can be taken only once and is available in English and Spanish. The language of the test must correspond to the language of the program application.

Tests are regularly organized in more than 30 countries around the world. Questions must be asked before the examination begins. An IE representative will be present throughout the examination to assist candidates in resolving any problems they may have. Please note, however, that once the test has begun, no questions regarding the content of the test will be allowed.

Yes, the Admissions Committee evaluates both the GMAT and the ieGAT score in cases where both are submitted as part of an application for registration. If you have already passed the GMAT, we strongly recommend that you submit your results when you register.

Yes. However, we advise you not to rely on it too much due to time constraints.

Once the exam has started, it must be taken in full and no breaks are allowed.

To take the test, you must bring a pencil, eraser and calculator. In addition, you must carry your ID card with you. Also have your Spanish passport or identity card number handy as you will have to write it on the answer form.

You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the test. Any candidate arriving after the starting time will not be allowed to take the exam.
